[00:00:17] most recently first up they've been a bit of it is he's tossing his coins into the
[00:00:22] pot he says he wants Gunello Gunello he wants him he wants to fight I think people should
[00:00:28] want that fight I think people understand that's the logical fight to make but Gunello
[00:00:32] is going to be fighting Jaime Munguia and I know it's you know officially if you're pronouncing
[00:00:36] it's Mungia because I'm Spanish but Munguia flows better off the tongue so I'm going to go with
[00:00:42] that so Canelo is going to be fighting Munguia and people are criticizing the fight and what I said
[00:00:46] was is a decent fight it's not a great one it's just a decent fight you know the reason
[00:00:51] people are pissed off though I'm going to level set this and I know there's some out here who
[00:00:55] disagreed with me the reason that you're pissed off about Canelo's choice is because you know
[00:00:59] Munguia has no chance in my mind he doesn't have a chance to beat Gunello he's not in Canelo's class
[00:01:05] he's a Lester fighter he has the 40 fights but he's fought mostly scrubs he had a couple of step-ups
[00:01:10] but the step-ups he did have he had some trouble he got hurt and then people look at Canelo say
[00:01:15] okay yeah he's on the decline yeah he is but I don't think it matters with Munguia I think it's just
[00:01:20] skills and levels to it and Munguia is too young and you know he yondled you know and he's not had a lot
[00:01:26] of tests and so this would be a test for him if Munguia pulls it out let's say he does right
[00:01:32] if he pulls it out he's not going to get credit for many of you because you'll just say Canelo was
[00:01:35] washed and he was damaged and all this other skills so for me I have no problem with him taking the
[00:01:40] fight in Lua Benavitas but I felt like he should have fought Benavitas at this point because Benavitas
[00:01:45] is red hot he's riding off a high especially with the Andre Wynn he's riding off a high he's the
[00:01:50] monster in the room not in terms of the skill right because plant took him the distance so it's not
[00:01:54] that it's just right now he's red hot and I felt like you got to strike when it's hot and go now
[00:02:01] if you think back Sugar Ray Leonard fought Tommy Herons when Tommy Herons was hot
[00:02:06] Durand fought Tommy Herons when Tommy Herons was hot Hagler fought Tommy Herons when Tommy Herons was hot
[00:02:12] they fought this threat this danger when he was red fucking hot Papino Quetzal fought Herons when
[00:02:18] he was red hot and in some cases they fell in some cases they didn't Durand fell it is what it is
[00:02:25] right Quetzal Sugar Ray got the win Hagler got the win so some guys will just pass the test and
[00:02:32] some guys won't that's the nature of the sport when you want to excite the fans if you don't want
[00:02:37] to excite the fans then it is what it is and I do think it's going to be exciting fight this
[00:02:40] canelo mongue I do think it's going to be exciting I just don't think it's going to be what the fans
[00:02:45] currently want to see and I guess my guess is mongue is simply just being positioned as another test
[00:02:51] for canelo as in let's see if he's washed let's see if he's damaged and then if he's damaged
[00:02:56] mongue is going to expose that that's possible too I don't know for sure but that's what's kind of
[00:03:01] on deck there well Benavita's taking a step further and he said look this is what I'll do let's have
[00:03:07] the fight up there inside of your rabia if we do it inside of your rabia if I lose if he beats me
[00:03:13] I'll donate my purse to charity that's how bad I want to take this fight so he wants to fight again
[00:03:18] I think most smart fans really want the fight and should want the fight I think it's a good fight
[00:03:24] it isn't going to happen I think yes I just don't think it's going to happen yet I don't think it will
[00:03:29] if Benavita's going to 175 canelo said he doesn't mind fighting on 175 now that's interesting because
[00:03:35] but you know two fights canelo said 175 covalid he dominated covalid but got dominated by bevol
[00:03:43] is there something that canelo knows in terms of why he lost two bevol that gives him confidence
[00:03:48] of beating Benavita's 175 then why would it matter if why would you think you can beat him at 175
[00:03:53] but you don't think you beat him 168 is there something that he knows right so that's intriguing
[00:03:58] we're going to keep an eye on that one and see how it goes meanwhile on the other side
[00:04:02] bamrod regas he's changing weight again again this guy keeps looking way at some point he's going to get
[00:04:07] hurt like Roger ohms but he's looking way again he's going after now astrada astrada is the champion
[00:04:13] astrada's one of the four kings so now bamrod regas took out rung vijay right and that was a shocker
[00:04:19] nobody expected that bamrod regas took out quadris that was that wasn't as much of a shocker but
[00:04:25] it was enough right so two of the four kings have already fallen to this dude and now he's
[00:04:29] going after astrada he's already said he's gonna duck chocolateito because they're friends
[00:04:33] if he was smart from a marketing perspective he would take out all four of the kings
[00:04:37] and cement his legacy but he's not gonna do that of course you know roderigas coming off the high
[00:04:43] of dominating sunny edwards so this kid is solid he's top notch this is happening in June as I record
[00:04:48] that so that's gonna be hell of a fight now i do think astrada astrada has been too inactive he's
[00:04:53] been out of the ring for a while and that bothers me and i know there's a lot of politics behind his
[00:04:59] specific situation i'm saying that as champion i'm disappointed to see him out of the ring
[00:05:03] he almost lost the second fight against rung vijay he didn't look that great it was really
[00:05:07] rung vijay fighting stupid than anything that astrada specifically did because it was close it was
[00:05:12] raised it close so i think astrada's on the decline which would tell me that roderigas is just
[00:05:17] gonna wash him i hope not because i hope it's a competitive fight for as long as it lasts but
[00:05:21] we'll check that out as well now let's get into our week of boxing and i do stress week there's some
[00:05:26] fights happening midweek but let's talk about the fights that are happening right now
[00:05:30] and then i'll close out with one recap that from a fight that happened just prior
[00:05:34] out in shephild in the uk 12 rounds is super lightweight action Dalton smith fighting Jose
[00:05:38] subpoena fantastic fight obviously obviously it's a fantastic fight if you don't think it's a
[00:05:44] fantastic fight you're not a fan it's a fantastic fight because you're dealing with two warriors
[00:05:49] this is a fight between two warriors this is a fight between two guys who want to win
[00:05:53] the pay this coming off of stoppage loss and i think that's got people a little bit flipped on him
[00:05:58] and he won his fight prior to that and then he got stopped prior to that so he has been slipping off
[00:06:03] I'm not debating this but he's still a warrior in there he's still gonna try he's just it just
[00:06:08] he makes a mistake and he gets caught that's what happened in his last fight he got dominated by decision
[00:06:13] but it wasn't like he made significant mistakes it was just levels between it the better man won
[00:06:19] that night you could run it back and probably see a different decision with that one so i am not
[00:06:23] going to tell you that this is an easy fight for smith because it's not i'm sorry Dalton smith got
[00:06:28] everything cut out for him in terms of his skill power in both hands rangel he's just a solid
[00:06:35] kid but we have to level set with Jose subpoena Jose subpoena is gonna try and he's gonna work
[00:06:41] his ass off the whole night through this one's interesting because the payda is obviously the
[00:06:46] the vet and this one he's got a lot of experience he's been in the game coming up on what 20 years
[00:06:51] very close 20 years experience in the game so he's slightly older but he's a south paul and again
[00:06:58] he's got power he's a warrior the whole nine so i think it's a great test for smith i think
[00:07:04] it's a great fight overall i'm gonna lean towards smith and the only reason i'm leaning towards smith
[00:07:09] this time is because again zippeta at this state of his career it's all about the mistakes he makes
[00:07:16] and if anybody can exploit it it's gonna be smith's gonna i think he's gonna exploit a mistake
[00:07:20] that the payda makes which is gonna give the give smith the w that's my call on it it's not gonna be
[00:07:26] i don't see it's gonna be a wash either way i don't see the smith's gonna dominate him or
[00:07:30] zippeta's gonna dominate him i think zippeta's gonna make a mistake get caught and smith will get his
[00:07:35] handrains this is on dizzone by the way the other fight on that same event 10 rounds at women's
[00:07:41] wealth weight action sandy ryan versus terry harper of course there was both gals are coming off the draw
[00:07:48] and this fight was kind of anticipated because of terry harper and terry harper terry harper has been so
[00:07:55] here's the background story on this business there was one there was a point where terry harper
[00:07:59] was looked at as kind of one of those stars i actually had an argument with somebody on his b
[00:08:04] was talked about how terry harper was a pound for pound and i said you're not gonna be able to qualify
[00:08:09] to me that a female is gonna be a pound for pound fighter you can say a pound for pound woman's
[00:08:15] fighter and he's like no i'm talking pound for pound of all and no i'm sorry that's not it and then
[00:08:19] harper got stopped in four and then she recovered a little bit and then just recently went to a draw
[00:08:24] i'm sorry i don't see it's not that she's not skilled i'm saying there's levels to the shit and
[00:08:29] i didn't see that out of her uh meanwhile ryan sandy ryan i think she's good the problem is ryan
[00:08:35] has always been power i think she has she struggles when she needs to use she needs power she didn't have it
[00:08:42] so she's in there and somebody that she can't keep off her her she has problems and that's what i
[00:08:46] saw caused the draw in her last fight so i'm gonna lean this is harper but i'm a lean towards harper
[00:08:54] from a mentality perspective i think harper's mind is in a little bit more than ryan
[00:08:59] ryan may show me something but i think tell your harper's it's just mentally stronger than ryan
[00:09:04] it's not even about skills just mental strength of the two now we're gonna switch to espn plus

[00:09:16] oscar valdez fighting lea wilson amazing fight for what it is course both guys have two losses on record
[00:09:22] so people have been critical of the general of the fight and especially with oscar valdez you talk
[00:09:27] about i've never been so disappointed in the fighter as i am with oscar valdez i was arguing with
[00:09:32] again somebody on the nsb who was swearing oscar valdez is this that yeah he is but he doesn't seem to be
[00:09:38] able to adjust in the ring he doesn't seem to have a plan b when his plan a doesn't work he goes out
[00:09:42] there and then he looked gets embarrassed when something happens and that frustrates me because
[00:09:46] i think he could be a quality fighter before whatever fucking reason he seems to get it off rocker
[00:09:52] so and we saw that twice now so i'm hopeful i don't know how optimistic but i'm hopeful that he's
[00:09:59] got his mind right he's back in the game he's gonna show us what he appeared to be prior to him fighting
[00:10:04] Shakur because i'm gonna tell you right now if anybody is gonna be able to dominate the dude it's
[00:10:09] gonna be lea wilson lea wilson is solid lea wilson is really good he makes mistakes but he's
[00:10:15] really good as a boxer that's just what he is so i see lea wilson could upset the card again
[00:10:21] because he's that good to be able to do that unless valdez has his mind right again it's all about
[00:10:26] mental strength in this one to me it's mental strength if valdez is in there he's gonna take another
[00:10:31] ill and if he takes another ill he needs to really consider hanging on the fuck up because i'm
[00:10:35] i'm getting sick and tired really frankly of seeing this dude every single time out he doesn't
[00:10:41] seem to be able to show up like he needs to and i don't know what's causing it but it's really frustrating
[00:10:46] by the way this event in the s-bm plus is happening next friday but i'm recording it today because
[00:10:52] i may miss it in fact i probably will miss it so i'm recording all this today to summarize what's
[00:10:56] going on there undercard of the same event 10 rounds at minimum weight women's action
[00:11:02] senizya strata the amazing one finally your cost of valde wow i love man i love senizya strata she's
[00:11:08] amazing a good fight now you know i say that senizya strata she's she's been dominated
[00:11:15] i'm talking as a person right and i know i sound biased but i'm talking as a person she's a good
[00:11:19] person she really is um and i i feel for her she had and valde you know if she can beat anybody
[00:11:26] it's valde valde has no power she has she's only she debuted not long ago she's not she's not a day
[00:11:33] a threat a physical threat but neither there's a strata so if you're interested in women's action do
[00:11:40] i absolutely check it out it is what it is but i don't think it's going to be a very exciting fight
[00:11:45] if you're gonna watch it watch it because you want to support the women you know that's i'll be
[00:11:49] honest with it i don't want to call it because it's not fair to them undercard of same event 10 rounds

[00:12:01] i don't nighini frustrates me he's i don't know if it's just with him i don't think it's mental

[00:12:18] and he seems comfortable now taking the elves and that bothers me i don't know why

[00:12:28] meritala because he deserves better than this in terms of an opponent
[00:12:32] it's undercard of the same event 10 rounds at super lightweight action uh lendolfo dogato versus
[00:12:37] karlosanches valadas i am i am mixed on this fight i'm mixed because dogato it's another mismatch
[00:12:47] i'm gonna let me just bottom line it's another mismatch just like the last one you know
[00:12:51] this is a mismatch uh dogato he's gonna blow this guy out i'm sorry i'm sorry i don't
[00:12:57] you want to talk about it's a mismatch and i don't like blatant mismatches blatant mismatches
[00:13:03] see i don't mind the occasional mismatch you know they're unavoidable but like one mismatch on
[00:13:08] the otherwise solid card sure but i don't like blatant mismatches where air like every fight on
[00:13:14] the freaking cards appears to be a mismatch that's what i don't like and that's what that appears
[00:13:18] to be to me and i don't want to see it it is what it is speaking of mismatches back on the zone

[00:13:31] ischamel davis versus troi williamson and troi williamson's coming off two close losses so he's not
[00:13:37] dominant losses two close losses and has been solid otherwise but he's going against ischamel
[00:13:43] davis who has been solid but he's not spectacular so when i say mismatch the irony of this one is
[00:13:50] i think williamson dominates davis i think davis is protected i think davis is overrated to a degree
[00:13:56] i think williamson's had a rough time simply because of you know unfortunate circumstances
[00:14:02] but i think williamson's the better fighter to a significant degree versus davis so
[00:14:07] i would consider it a mismatch in the opposite direction it's like no why would you match davis
[00:14:12] against this guy who from my eyes is much more skilled than you guy i don't know anyway that's our
[00:14:18] weekend of boxing and our week of boxing to come and then just to follow up because we had the
[00:14:24] fight that i covered last time and my thing here is this they're moving the schedules around a little
[00:14:31] bit and so this one i i covered it and then it immediately happened right after it so i couldn't
[00:14:36] talk about it until now but it's a pain of versus use that happened uh last saturday and i said
[00:14:44] you know people would say that this is gonna be a blowout and truly there was a stoppage uh
[00:14:49] he was quit that that happened but he was there he was fighting he was he was there he was trying
[00:14:56] it's just he got overwhelmed and i wanted stress i got the call wrong but i didn't you know the outcome
[00:15:03] was was what i expected i expected he was going to fight he was going to try i just expect he was
[00:15:09] going to falter under that and that's what happened and so i want to give a shout out to zipeda for an
[00:15:14] amazing performance that night that was one of the best performances i think i've seen overall from him
[00:15:20] and it gives me highlights for the future the other thing i want to talk about
[00:15:25] you're uh no longer undisputed well-to-weight champion terrence bud crawford of course he got stripped
[00:15:30] of the i b f handed over to boots in us because he ducked boots in his butt crawford now has been
[00:15:36] talking about possibly going into fighting tim zoo he's allegedly lobby to the wbo to fight the winner
[00:15:43] of the fight between tim zoo and subashore and fun doora and if you're wondering what i'm talking
[00:15:47] about it was supposed to be keif once upon a time thurman or keif at one time thurman depended on
[00:15:53] who you ask fighting tim zoo in what would be keif's get back fight as he describes it that fight
[00:15:59] is not gonna happen because keif got hurt apparently his bicep was causing problems he's had bicep
[00:16:04] issues for years it's not a recent injury but apparently that happened in training camp and so
[00:16:11] he's out of the fight so then subashore and fun doora who was fighting on the undercarb
[00:16:16] is taking over for keif and so now it's fun doora versus zoo and people swear it's a shocker on zoo
[00:16:22] i don't see it i would if fun doora fought like i think he should he doesn't fight like a thing he
[00:16:26] should he doesn't use his height he doesn't use his range he's an inside fighter and i speculated
[00:16:32] it's because of his eyesight that he has no choice he's got to fight on the inside and so for me
[00:16:37] i was looking at it like i i'm gonna see that fun doora is gonna get absolutely washed because
[00:16:44] because of the way he fights not because the late the rehearsal late replace the late replace but
[00:16:50] because of the way he fights he just that's a problem but tim zoo is the worst person to do that
[00:16:57] against because he is an inside he prefers fighting inside shens a inside fighter he prefers fighting
[00:17:03] inside he excels inside whereas fun doora i believe he fights inside because he kind of has to
[00:17:10] i think in this case no i think zoo prefers fighting inside and he excels at it it's not that he has to
[00:17:16] you know it's different it's different if you're required to do it versus you prefer to do it it's
[00:17:21] not the same thing and i think that's what's throwing people off from my lens is they're treating it

[00:18:42] a decent fighter slipped off has been getting decision losses he's not been getting knocked out but
[00:18:47] he's gonna decision losses draws like he's not been so if there was going to be a good
[00:18:53] get back fight for walters it's going to be adorno of course walters is the b side which surprised
[00:18:58] me but walters is the b side here adorno is produced portrayed as the star but he's not really
[00:19:03] star nick walters before he quit against loma chinko nick walters was considered a buggy man
[00:19:09] of the division he was a solid fighter and then he had the draw prior to loma chinko quit against
[00:19:13] loma chinko disappeared for years and then just now comes back he swore after the fact he swore
[00:19:21] that the reason that he did that was because he knew he wasn't gonna win he knew it was it was
[00:19:25] stacked against him he's making allegations that i was disappointed it's like come on dude the point

[00:20:50] younger by far but i don't think that's going to matter uh there otherwise numerically matched very
[00:20:55] well like it's a good fight to watch i don't even want to call this one uh it's right down the middle
[00:20:59] as far as i see it and then this is a disown fight and this one is going to be be happening on thursday

[00:21:20] decent fight not a great fight uh quentin is the up and comeer although he's he's maybe not

[00:21:29] and then rankin's been in the game quite a bit and he's not been spectacular i expect it to showcase
[00:21:34] fight for quentin that's what i see and then the other fight which this one hurts my heart but

[00:21:46] urgeshiv shoijan urgeshiv fighting one hurt us i'm the reason it hurts my heart is because

[00:21:57] there and then everything derailed everything freaking derailed for him and he's he's doing to get back
[00:22:03] now you know he got stopped in five and that was a shocker because he was going off a streak
[00:22:07] and then he's coming back now and he's still reasonably young you know but i think something just
[00:22:13] fell off with him because he was he had momentum he was going to be he was going to be one of the
[00:22:17] players and then that didn't happen and then it worked this he's only thought regional got stopped
[00:22:22] into he's not he's not going to be a threat for urgeshiv i don't see so that's why it hurts my
[00:22:27] heart is come on disown you can do better than this anyway that's our week of boxing to come uh we'll
