[00:00:18] other fights on deck I'm gonna be putting the show on hiatus the reason I'm doing so is because
[00:00:24] largely the decline of boxing as I see it I'm very concerned with some of the things I'm seeing I
[00:00:30] also see that some form of oversensitivity is encroaching upon boxing forums where mods are
[00:00:38] getting sensitive triggered set off for their personal feelings and it's disturbing like we're
[00:00:44] not in an era where we're openly able to talk about fighters good and bad like we should
[00:00:49] and in the old and then you got crying Garcia out here doing all sorts of crazy nonsense missing weight
[00:00:55] you know Devin Haney he's now going to be fighting a guy that's bloated and then there'll
[00:01:00] be an excuse and so then the WBC is not on the line that's fine but there'll be an excuse
[00:01:06] just like there was against Hank and so then Haney won't get the credit and I'm very I'm
[00:01:11] bothered by what I see um and they're interesting then I hear about uh Crawford allegedly fighting
[00:01:17] for WBA 154 for the title that Jermell Charlo relinquished because he was going to fight Canelo
[00:01:25] and then Jermell Charles allegedly gonna step aside for that fight so rather than Jermell
[00:01:31] taking the title fighting the guy I forget the guy but fighting the guy getting his title
[00:01:38] legit and then fighting Crawford and for Crawford instead of him fighting somebody legit
[00:01:44] he's gonna get a gimme I'm not suggesting his opponent's gonna be an easy touch but it's a
[00:01:48] gimme let's be honest here Crawford will duck boots innocent 147 boots won't get a fair shot
[00:01:54] there so now we're right back this whole chaos Crawford still hasn't vacated the titles there
[00:01:58] can always not fighting Benavides Mongolia nobody believes he has a chance to beat Canelo
[00:02:05] everything is that you know Connor Ben may be getting a gimme fight here very soon with
[00:02:09] boots maybe you got freaking uh Broner and Blair Cobbs which is gonna be great on the presser but
[00:02:16] it's gonna be a shit fight so like I looked and then the whole Tyson Fury Usyk shit that's gonna
[00:02:21] be happening I think that's June everything that's not an enticing fight Wilder and Zhang is a
[00:02:27] decent fight but it depends on what Wilder shows up Zhang looks like crap in his last
[00:02:31] fight they have to wait on the Saudis to pay for the shit you know what I mean like I
[00:02:36] I'm very disappointed in the state of boxing and because I'm disappointed and no longer excited
[00:02:41] it doesn't compel me to continue doing the show even if it's once a week because every time I dial
[00:02:46] in I don't see the kinds of compelling fights like I want so I am going to put the show on
[00:02:53] hiatus I'm not sure if I'm gonna bring it back honestly although I enjoy boxing I don't
[00:02:59] enjoy what's happening to the business part of this is ESPN part of it showtime pulling
[00:03:04] out HBO pulling out you know the the top people that's happening and then just a lack of true
[00:03:11] stars there's no real star power don't say Tio Fimo he's not a star don't say crying he's
[00:03:17] not really a star don't say Logan Paul he's not a star Jake Paul's not a star star is
[00:03:23] not about drawing star is not about social media star is star you're if you're a star
[00:03:29] you are a star somebody like Deontay Wilder who has a statue erected of his facade out there in
[00:03:37] front of a library he is qualified as a star because he has a physical presence in his home
[00:03:42] area tank Davis is known throughout his home state irrespective of online I would qualify
[00:03:48] him as a star etc so I don't know if I'll bring it back honestly do not I may or may not
[00:03:56] I have not decided probably not I'm gonna instead focus energy into casual talk as well as crypto
[00:04:03] talk a little bit more lean into those and then start up the new platform show that I'm
[00:04:09] going to be building out once I get the physicals all sorted out I want to say thank
[00:04:13] you for listeners for listening to the show I know that it's kind of gone up and down we've
[00:04:18] got a number of people that you know there's a lot of Lomachenko fans out there there's
[00:04:23] certainly some Crawford fans out there there's some TO fans out there there's a little bit of
[00:04:28] boots Matias I know there's a lot of you Matias folks out there and I want to apologize to you
[00:04:34] because that's another one right you got a guy Matias who's throwback exciting to watch
[00:04:40] can't get him in the ranks everybody's ducking him Tim's who over here he basically screws the
[00:04:45] pooch against Sebastian Fundora guy got knocked spark out by Mendoza the same Mendoza
[00:04:50] Zou ran through you know just it's frustrating it's a frustrating sport business to watch
[00:04:58] and even cover it is draining even if I only do it for 30 minutes a week
[00:05:04] it's the frustration of not seeing the same little energy that we used to and then
[00:05:09] most of the fights going to fucking Amazon pay-per-view seriously so we're moving away
[00:05:15] from TV for it that was the platform to find it was free TV Pro Box is there Pro Box buys
[00:05:21] boxing scene boxing scene has triggered but hurt mods over there reddit boxing has triggered
[00:05:27] but hurt mods over there boxing news 24 has triggered but hurt mods over there no matter
[00:05:33] what you do it's there's no the men like and crying Garcia the way he's fucking acting right
[00:05:39] there's no men that can just openly chat and talk so I'll tell you this in closing I may
[00:05:45] I don't know this I may start up my own shit right for men to have open conversations about
[00:05:52] this and hopefully we can together platform and encourage the kinds of stuff that real men do
[00:06:00] which is no but hurt triggered ass mods and advocating for the fights we want to see
[00:06:07] I may do that I haven't decided it's a time sink I'd have to think about it I don't know
[00:06:11] if it's worth it at this point so again I want to thank you we may or may not be back
